Return and Refund Policy

Returns
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. 
We will replace any defective item. But we have a 30% handling fee for the return of non-defective items.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. It must not be damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. You must contact us before 14 days after you received the product.

Non-returnable items:
Gift cards

Please before you send an item back to us you need to go to our contact us site and send us a message. Tell us what is wrong with your product and why you want to return it. If you want a refund or if you want a new product, we also need your receipt or proof of purchase. 
When we have gotten all the info we need from you, then you will get an email back with a number that you need to put outside the parcel when you are sending it back to us.
WE DO NOT PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING. THAT MUST BE PAID BY YOU THE COSTUMER.
When shipping an item in return to us, please provide us with a tracking number.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once a return is received we will determine whether or not it is defective and then process your request.
We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Replacements for a defective item will be shipped directly back to you at no charge. 

If a product is NOT defective, then you will be able to choose a new product or money back just remember we will not pay shipping for that. 

Late or missing refunds 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges 
We will only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sale@safetygizmo.com or send us a message on the contact form under and give us the details of your product and why you need it exchanged.

Shipping
If you need to return the order to us, contact us first, and we will give you shipping details with a number that you need to put outside the parcel when you are sending it back to us.
It must be shipped with a tracking number that you need to give us.

You will be responsible for paying for your shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider purchasing a shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
